How to watch The Weeknd’s live concert in Brazil
The one-time-only performance takes place this saturday, in São Paulo
The Weeknd, who is the cover of the 10th edition of Billboard Brasil, is already in our country for a concert that promises to be legendary. He will perform this saturday at Morumbis Stadium in São Paulo, in a one-time-only show. To the delight of fans around the world, the performance will be streamed live.
The Weeknd’s concert will be streamed on the artist’s YouTube channel, starting at 9 PM on September 7th. Morumbis Stadium has a capacity of over 60,000 people, and there are only a few ticket left on the Ticketmaster website.
The concert in São Paulo will mark the beginning of a new phase in the canadian artist’s career. He has been to Brazil in 2023 with the “After Hours Til Dawn” tour and even created one of the tracks for his upcoming album while here. It was in São Paulo where Abel Tesfaye created the track “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” which he nicknamed Frankenstein. The reason is that the song explores different sounds.
Regarding the choice of Brazil as the stage for this new moment, The Weeknd praised the energy of the audience here. “I can speak for all artists when I say it’s hard to put into words the love and energy that the Brazilian people express when you’re on stage,” he said in an exclusive interview with Billboard Brasil.
