Com show de Camila Cabello, VMA muda de data devido a debate presidencial nos EUA

O VMA 2024 teve a sua data alterada devido ao debate presidencial nos Estados Unidos entre Kamala Harris e Donald Trump, marcado para o dia 10 de setembro. Com isso, o evento musical será realizado no dia 11.

O Video Music Awards também anunciou os primeiros shows da cerimônia. Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro e Sabrina Carpenter estão confirmados como atrações no palco da UBS Arena, em Nova York, nos Estados Unidos.

Anitta estará representando o Brasil novamente este ano. Embora ainda não tenha uma apresentação confirmada até o momento, a brasileira concorre em duas categorias no VMA. Em melhor latino, ela tem chances duplicadas de ganhar com as músicas “Bellakeo” feat. Peso Pluma, e “Mil Veces” –com essa última, ela também disputa o prêmio de melhor montagem.

No ano passado, o VMA aconteceu em Los Angeles. Na ocasião, ela venceu na categoria de melhor videoclipe latino com “Funk Rave”.
